Any man or woman between the ages of 18 and 65 and older (including over 65s), diagnosed with mental health issues (including Dementia) is deemed eligible to apply for placement. The individual must have undergone the process of treatment and rehabilitation and is deemed ready for reintegration into the community as informal individuals (or with guardianship order).
At Waterfield Supported Homes Ltd, we assess all clients prior to placement. Clients at the early stages or Dementia may be accepted for placement. Throughout their placement their mental and physical health will be monitored continuously.
If they are deemed to require nursing needs, they will be referred to nursing homes and their placement will be terminated. Waterfield supported homes works towards equal opportunities and are precluded by the Fire Authorities from admitting clients who are not physically active, as they are not designed for people with fully restricted mobility.
